Instead of losing brake energy to heat, the kinetic motor stores the energy in Maxwell ultracapacitors that have been tested to over 1.7 million cycles – they most likely will outlast your truck!
Traditional engines are most inefficient at low speeds – 0 to 30 MPH. The kinetic hybrid releases stored energy during truck start-up, reducing fuel usage and emissions.
